Bargaining Team Elections

Unit 2 Bargaining Team Elections – Zoom – 14 April 2025 – 6:30–7:30pm

Each unit of the local elects their bargaining team at a unit caucus meeting.  Bargaining teams do the direct negoitiations at the table with the employer on behalf of their unit’s members. There are six members of each bargaining team with one additional alternate. The President, Vice President Internal, and the respective Unit VP sits on each bargaining team, so there are three open seats plus an alternate that must be elected at a bargaining unit caucus. If you are interested in running, simply attend your bargaining unit caucus and present yourself as a candidate.  A monthly honorarium is paid to all bargaining team members. No experience is necessary and training will be provided. Don’t be shy to participate in the most important work your union does to protect you on the job! If you have questions, please reach out to your respective Unit VP: vp.unit1@cupe4600.ca (TAs/RAs); vp.unit2@cupe4600.ca (CIs).
