Campus United* will be hosting a Townhall on Carleton’s Budget Cuts on Thursday, December 12 from 4:30-6:30 pm in 360 Tory Building.
The Townhall will have a panel of speakers from CUASA (full-time Faculty), CUPE 2424 (administrative, technical, and library workers), CUPE 4600 (CIs & TAs), and PSAC 77000 (Post-Docs) who will discuss Carleton’s narrative around their stated ‘financial crisis’ and the impacts that their proposed budget cuts will have on each respective union. Workers at Carleton are encouraged to attend.
Please register to attend this event, either in person or online.
The deadline for registration of food numbers/preferences is Monday December 9. Registration will remain open after this, but we may not be able to accommodate additional requests after this date.
*Campus United is a committee with representation from Unions/Organizations at Carleton University. We meet semi-regularly to keep each other informed of workplace issues and build solidarity across Unions and Workers at Carleton University.*
We will be having a general members meeting including Unit 2 Vice President elections, a finance update, and an update on grievances.
