All Contract Instructors are invited to join us on Zoom for our bi-weekly Unit 2 Bargaining Research Committee meetings. Our first meeting will be on Wednesday, January 22, 7:30-8:30pm, with meetings every other Wednesday for the Winter 2025 term.
This is for members who would like to help the local identify needed changes in the Collective Agreement, draft possible bargaining proposals, research Collective Agreements of locals similar to ours, and help CUPE 4600 prepare for a successful round of bargaining in 2025.
Our Annual General Meeting will take place Thursday, April 3rd, at 6pm.
The AGM is when we elect our new executive board and executive council. All members in good standing will be able to vote for their new executives, and are welcome to run for board and council positions.
The AGM is also where the current executive board will submit their final board reports and where we will be presented with the budget for the upcoming year.

The External Affairs Committee meets to discuss pressing issues on and off campus as well as engage in outreach with various unions and organizations throughout Ottawa and beyond.
