Winter General Membership Meeting
This meeting will be hybrid
Details and agenda to come
The next Unit 2 caucus will take place in 482 MacOdrum Library on Wednesday, February 26, 6:30-8:00pm.
In this meeting, we hope to learn from each other regarding what’s going on in our various academic units with respect to CI cuts for 2025-2026, and to share with you ways to get involved in our campaign against these decisions. In addition, as we are about to enter a bargaining year, we will be discussing membership priorities for the next round of negotiations, as well as how to get involved in the Bargaining Research Committee (BRC).
Food and refreshments will be served.
All Contract Instructors are invited to join us on Zoom for our bi-weekly Unit 2 Bargaining Research Committee meetings. Our first meeting will be on Wednesday, January 22, 7:30-8:30pm, with meetings every other Wednesday for the Winter 2025 term.
This is for members who would like to help the local identify needed changes in the Collective Agreement, draft possible bargaining proposals, research Collective Agreements of locals similar to ours, and help CUPE 4600 prepare for a successful round of bargaining in 2025.
