From Palestine to the Philippines, political repression includes the unjust and arbitrary imprisonment of people who struggle for self-determination and liberation. For over 50 years, the Zionist entity has imprisoned thousands of Palestinians as part of an imperialist-backed project of ethnic cleansing. Philippine state terror imprisons workers, peasants, indigenous peoples, journalists, and peace consultants who seek justice, land reform, and higher wages – violating their human rights and international humanitarian law.
Please join Students for Justice in Palestine – Carleton, the Ontario Committee for Human Rights in the Philippines and CUPE4600 for an educational and letter writing event to demonstrate solidarity with these heroic political prisoners in their time of need.
Join us in room 3040 of the Nicol Building at Carleton University on Wednesday, February 5, from 6pm to 8pm. Writing supplies and light refreshments will be offered
