Join us for this year’s first meeting of the Gender Equity Caucus! Tuesday October 29, 3:30pm – 5pm Nideyinan 279
The Gender Equity Caucus is a space for all members who experience gender inequity. In this space we discuss and strategize around issues such as workplace safety, family-related concerns, discrimination, and policy development.
At this meeting, we will be prioritizing the following:
- Electing a caucus chair**
- Beginning a discussion of Carleton’s Sexual Violence Policy with the aim of providing feedback
- Raising other workplace concerns around gender equity
- Building community through informal conversation and support
We’re encouraging participation from:
- Members with expertise in the area of gender inequity, feminism, and workplace issues
- Members who want to share their lived experiences in this area
- Members who have ideas on making change on campus related to gender inequity at work
- Members who are new to our union and want to connect
